New Balance

Since 1906, New Balance has grown to become a global leader in sports footwear and apparel. Continuing to expand its retail presence, New Balance opened a new store at Highpoint Shopping Center in Melbourne and the Bowen team were engaged to engineer a design for the most efficient stockroom.

Project Scale

The Project:

The objective was to create a stockroom that optimally utilised the available space, accommodating a substantial inventory of footwear and apparel. The design also needed to meet all safety standards, as well as the accommodation of fire services.

Our Solution:

By leveraging the extended ceiling height, we installed 3,000mm high shelving units, achieving a storage capacity of over 6,700 shoe boxes. The layout included dedicated areas for shoe box storage, garment hanging, packing stations, and receiving zones, ensuring a streamlined workflow.

The Result:

· A compact and efficient stockroom that supports New Balance's operational needs.
· Enhanced storage capacity to accommodate a diverse product range.
· Compliance with safety regulations, ensuring a secure environment for staff and inventory.
